The Holidays are over... for now

The holidays are over, the decorations and ornaments are put away, the tree is.... not quite down. I have to say I am a little sad it's all over but relieved too. We went to Neola the weekend before Christmas for my family Christmas party, then we spent Christmas Eve at Dave's parents'. That night we came home about midnight, put the kids in bed, and found that Santa left all the gifts but didn't wrap a single one. So around 4 a.m. we got to bed, and didn't have to get up until 9 a.m. We opened presents, then rushed to my sister's house in Herriman for brunch then straight back to Dave's parents' for dinner. It was a great Christmas, but after that we decided to stay home for New Years. Especially since I had to make a special trip to the doctor at 7:30 on New Years Eve night because Ethan had a fever of 104. Turned out, he had strep throat. I take him outside for ONE day and this is what happens. Poor kid.

These are the shirts we got at the Christmas party

This is what our tree looks like at 4 in the morning.

Degan's nickname is "Squirt", because he looks like the turtle on Nemo. It's a good thing, he's a cute turtle.

Ethan didn't know what to think about this monkey.

Brendon, Ethan and Ellie (wearing the tutu I made her)

I wonder what he's whispering to him...

Dave took this picture cause he thought it looked cool.
